Echo MCP Server

A minimal MCP (Model Context Protocol) server implementation for Smithery.

Features

Installation

npm install

Running the Server

Start the server on port 8000:

npm start

The server will be available at http://localhost:8000/mcp.

Testing

Using MCP Inspector

Install MCP Inspector:

npm install -g @modelcontextprotocol/inspector

Start the MCP Inspector:

npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector streamable-http http://localhost:8000/mcp

Open the Inspector UI at http://127.0.0.1:6274
- Set Transport Type to "Streamable HTTP"
- Set URL to "http://localhost:8000/mcp"
- Click Connect
