README

Clay MCP Desktop Extension

⚠️ No Longer Maintained

Clay has released an official remote MCP server at mcp.clay.earth/mcp, making this wrapper unnecessary.

To set up the official Clay MCP:

  1. In the Clay app, go to App Menu > Settings > Integrations > MCP
  2. Follow the instructions to connect Clay to Claude, ChatGPT, or third-party tools

See the Nexus 4.0 announcement for more details.

This Desktop Extension connects Claude to Clay's personal CRM platform. This repo simply wraps Clay's MCP Server in a Desktop Extension (.dxt) so that it can be installed in one click.

Installation

  • Download the latest release
  • Open the .dxt file in Claude Desktop (double click, don't drag into the chat input box)
  • Click the "Install" button
  • Enter your Clay API key from clay.earth
  • Make sure the extension is enabled and you're good!
