  1. Environment Variable:

    export SCRAPEZY_API_KEY=your_api_key
    npx @scrapezy/mcp

  2. Command-line Argument:

    }
  }
}

Example Usage in Claude

You can use this tool in Claude with prompts like:

Please extract product information from this page: https://example.com/product
Extract the product name, price, description, and available colors.

Claude will use the MCP server to extract the requested structured data from the website.

Debugging

Since MCP servers communicate over stdio, debugging can be challenging. We recommend using the MCP Inspector, which is available as a package script:

npm run inspector

The Inspector will provide a URL to access debugging tools in your browser.

Questions

About Scrapezy

How do I install Scrapezy?

Run npx mcp, then add the server to your MCP client's configuration. Conduid has recorded 0 installs, so the command is known to work with current clients.

Is Scrapezy safe to use with an AI agent?

Its trust score is 50 out of 100 (fair). It passes 0 of 1 static security checks; the failures are listed above. It has no ConduID identity yet, so agent calls to it are not receipted.

Is Scrapezy still maintained?

The last commit was a year ago, with 0 open issues. That's long enough that you should check whether the maintainer is responding to issues before depending on it.
